Colloquium: 'An Archive in Progress'

The archive, central to questions of history, memory and identity, is no longer seen merely as a static repository of ordered records. Today, contemporary theorists, artists and archivists  imagine the archive as a fluid, dynamic and “live” construct: a place in which past, present and future may overlap and interact, be transformed and recontextualised.

Speakers in conversation:

Judy Willcocks: Central Saint Martins archivist

Attilia Fattori Franchini: freelance curator specialist in post-digital art

James Swinson: artist, lecturer, expert in found footage

Ezra Konvitz: co-founder Art Stack,

Ruth MacLennan artist who uses archives in her practice
